This fascinating short was written by Jack Schiff, Mort Weisinger, and Bernie Breslauer, and illustrated by Jack Lehti.
Now here's Sir Arthur's creation in action...
Scripted by Paul S Newman and rendered by Bob Fujitani, this never-reprinted short appeared between two longer tales in Dell's Four Color #1245 (1962), the second (and last) of the authorized issues (by Doyle's estate) which featured original tales, not adaptations of classic Holmes tales.
